Getting more out of your handheld GPS (garmin mapping)
Hi All, For those of you who have a Garmin handheld mapping GPS. Do you find that the basemap (mapsource) supplied on the unit is vague or not giving you some information that you want or need? Do you wish you had topo maps for your unit?

Handheld GPS Mapping
Just bought a New GPS unit, A Magellan Explorist 500. Now lets load the SD card with some maps, what maps are everybody using? what do you recommend? What is compatible with Google Earth? How much is this software? Is Oziexplorist the way to go? Regards
