I used to be up Hams hall all the time untill it got locked down is the cannock races any good...been cov ones (shite)....who goes??

codling this year
got a bad feeling this year already on the cod front, the news i am hearing around my area that most (90%)of the codling are under size, i no its still early but not looking good ,glad there are still loads of bass around, hope i am wrong

Codling to Cod
Just out of boredom 'cos I can't at the moment get down on the shingle . What size does a codling become known as a cod? I am under the impression when it reaches the weight of 6lbs. Can anyone clarify this?

dunno if anyone else has heard but theres supposed to be a couple of coddling caught from dungie behind the power station last week. also heard that some were caught from hythe and the breakwater at dover. and just to top it off a couple caught on deal
