here in australia I run an independent league, that is now celebrating it's 40th anniversary...1971-2010. We play March through to November, a 30 game regular season, with two domestic cups and three interleague cups. We have a second tier which plays 46 match regular seasons while also competing for the two domestic cups. We abide, primarily, by the original subutteo rules, with some adjustments to give a more competitive edge to games. The teams are a
