Whole house voltage regulator?
The place I'm renting has one & I'm curious as to what it would cost to have one installed? All I've heard is that it's pricey but how pricey?
Didn't know whether to put this in the DIY/Mechanical section or here but it's definitely not a DIY project. Thanks for any info.

I have a couple of batteries from old Power Guardians UPS which still read 13volts so I was thinking of using them via a regulator to power my GP3500.
Am I right in thinking I need to finish up with 6.8volts??
