PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) explained

The PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) is the diameter of the circle pattern of the bolts that hold your wheel on. STI's have since the 2005 Blob been PCD 114, with previous STi's and all other scoobies being 100mm. Allegedly the PCD in STi was increased to cope with the cornering loads imposed by the introduction of the Potenza RE070 tyre, with its semi slick cut tread as the larger PCD is a function of the larger hubs engineered to take the larger load
