Deep Blue: Depthmaster 3000 - Impressions [UPDATED]

Just some quick and early impressions of this watch.

Had every expectation of sending this back, but was pleasantly surprised with the execution and size management. Asked the wife about the size being too large "heavens no" (no jokes please). Probably due to being low and wide with potentially large areas broken up by seams and extrusions. Looks good and upscale, but not Omega/Rolex upscale. Certainly not fo

OK, I have a question...is the new 3000m DB watch tested to the stated depth on the dial or is it just an assumption for marketing purposes? Question: Why do I care? Answer: Because there are true 3000m certified dive watches from brands like
First up is the Deep Blue Diver T100 Daynight, which seems to come in a variety of dial choices. The case measures 46mm, is water resistant to 300 meters, has Tritium tube hands, and markers, and is powered by an automatic Seiko caliber NH25 movement.
