Bump Steer
Can anyone provide a brief description of bump steer and how it works. Been racing 3yrs now, and still don't really understand this. I suscribe to 2 r/c mags, and even their explanations are confusing. Thanks.
Bumpsteer?
Quick question, reading about front link suspensions. Context: triangulated four-link using full hydraulic steering because using a steering box with a crossover draglink will cause bumpsteer. What the heck is bumpsteer?
solid axle bounce steer
i noticed that at higher speed the van tends to suddenly track to either side after a bump. i read that a solid front axle will cause this because what one wheel does affects the other unlike independent suspension. has anyone observed this in their van?
