Lipo and brushed ESC

Hi LiPo guru's.

I just goy my very first Lipo battery (better late than never) and need some advice on the following:
- Are you able to use LiPo battery (2S) with an old ESC for brushed motor?

The ESC is Novak GT7.
My receiver is Spektrum 2,4 GHz.
Motor is brushed.

For LiPo protection, I'm planning to get the Novak Smart Stop for 2S LiPo battery.

Any advice is appreciated before I dam

or to brush a polished bezel..... saw this somewhere and it works, items needed masking tape X-acto knife or razor blade scotch-brite pad and a thumb tack, old school no push pins!! THIS IS A REINACTMENT, should have took pics while i was doing it

So I know absolutely know nothing about lipo batteries. In fact, they kinda scare me. Any battery that needs to be put in a bag to be charged makes me kinda leery.. My regular battery kicked the bucket last game so I though 'why not look into these
Someone at llysfaen last week had a multiple charge lead for their vapor lipos - letting them charge up about 6 vapor batteries from a standard lipo charger. Anyone know where you can get them from and what settings (cell count + ampage) would you charge
