Silver Maple for fire Wood?

well the ice got one of my trees this week. I went ahaed and dropped what was left of it yesterday and got it all cut up, paid a neighbor kid to help load a couple trailers with all the smaller stuff. As I see it I have about 3 maybe 4 cords of firewood sized wood when the bigger stuff is split.
Anyone ever burn silver maple? Is it worth a crap or should I just give it away?
