My 98 Mustang build
Well I thought Id get to know everyone a little better and start a build thread...what better way right?
I picked me up a really nice 98 Mustang v6 car. It came with a new front Cobra bumper cover, really clean 02 GT interior,8.8 disc brake rear end, and new 17" bullit wheels with new rubber. I also got a bunch of parts with the car witch I have since sold some off,and now only have $300 into the car.lol.
My plans are to put it into the 9s-8s i

I've owned this car since for 7+years since 2004. I've spent countless hours on the car and is worth way more then anyone could ever offer but i think its time to just let go of the car if a buyer is willing to pay.

New member here---I recognize a lot of screen names from the other site are here to.
Anyway I am almost finished with my new race car build, a 2006 Mustang GT with a 572 CID BBF, a PG trans, Ford 9 inch rearend, 8.50 cert cage, etc, etc.
The motor
Well the build started from this back in January 2010
after a year of stop start building due to bad health, in and out of hospital and at times thinking of throwing the towel in the Mustang is ready to maiden!!!!!!

I know that this is not a BBF. It's all coming together. Hopefully, I will be able to fire it up this next weekend.
Still needs a little more trimming but we almost have this wheel well ready for 29.5x10.5's.
What do you guys
I am building an 8.8 rearend for my bbf powered mustang. I hope the engine is 500 hp, and it will have a 3,000 stall converter in it with 3.73 gears, no transbrake. Will 31 spline aftermarket axles be strong enough?
I plan on welding the tubes,
