Spark plug gap for ar3934 plugs

this is for my 76 cobra 2 that has the 302 with the kaase canted valve heads i gapped them at .045 but had a few people say that autolite says run them with the factory gap which was .026 Shocked i never heard of runnin a gap that small unless it was gettin a boat load of nitrous. The motor is about 10.5to1 compression has a flat hyd 292 magnum cam from comp that is 244@.050
