Gold Prospecting Australia's detecting tour at Leonora - great 9.5 days- 426 pieces of gold found.

Howdy all,

Just back in Sydney yesterday after Tour 1 ended on Monday night.

There was about 20 people detecting from a bush camp NE of Leonora. They ranged from rank new chums, to a hot shot from Bendigo.

The group tally for nine and a half days detecting, was 426 pieces (nuggets and specimens) for 10.9 oz (338.5 gm). The three best nuggets w

specking patch
Does anyone know anything about the specking patch leonora other then it's probably the most detected patch in leonora. i have heard that it's been chained and thrashed for years.anyone got any stories at the patch.
