More battery problems!

Chaps,

I see that there are numerous posts on this site about owners having battery problems with the Swing. I have just had one die on me (my bike is a 2009 model), but I have only just managed to start the bike this morning after fitting a new battery last Friday. My engine battery does not charge up when the 240v hook up is on. Is that the norm? I ended up with a flat battery but was able to jump start from the habitation battery.
