There are moments in dancing when everything - connection, musicality, physicality, creativity - comes together and creates a zen-like feeling within. In sports psychology, and increasingly in other areas of everyday life, researchers are taking note of that feeling of being "on a high" or "in the zone." It is often called flow, that effortless feeling that makes you come back for more.
