Mersey Valley fishing ponds

Hi there

As anyone ever fished either one of the two ponds at Mersey Valley golf club, i am thinking of joining but wanted to know if anyone has fished here and if so what's it like and whats in?

As plans for fishing cogden fell through, me and the old man made a last min decision to do 4 or 5 hours at ash ponds, got there, threw out a few dog biscuits to be suprised at carp feeding on top!!! so a short session produced 8 fish each, me:
Just had an invite to fish from small boat on the Mersey Tomorrow for the Cod. Any reports, advice etc, where are the fish gonna be. Should be there for the first of the flood
