Sad News - Les Eaton

Another iconic stock car character has passed away. Please see the following statement taken from the Spedeworth website...

"It is with great sadness that we announce that Les Eaton passed away this morning, 23rd January 2012 at Ipswich Hospital.
Les, along with his late wife Mavis promoted their first meeting on August 18th 1960 at Aldershot Stadium as Paramount Promotions.

FYI for Lansing area members: The Eaton Rapids Paddle Club is putting on a boat and classic car show at Howe Memorial Field 315 W. Knight St on Saturday May 14th from 10am to 3pm. I don't have any other info yet, but will post more when I find some.
