Low Coolant light comes on and off and on and off...
The low coolant light first comes on once the car is warm and it cycles on and off every few minutes. Radiator is full and has been replaced within the past 3-4 years. I do remember having some weird fitting replaced, something the radiator place had never seen before, I think at the bottom of the radiator.

Hey again, fellas.
Well, I've decided to stop ignoring this problem. My low coolant light comes on and off. Sometimes it's off for months, sometimes it goes on and it's like that for a week or more. Totally intermittent. The coolant level is fine.
I can't remember when this started but it has been many months already.
I notice that my coolant reservoir always go down about 1/2-inch after about 1 week of daily driving.

Hi its only me again, I was wondering if the wrong coolant in a Golf would make the engine coolant light switch on and if so how would I drain and replace it. The Golf is a 2002 model year btw.
