Can you roll on automotive paint?

hey everyone. ive been reading this forum for a while and i am starting to make some plans to finally attempt a paint job on my car when it gets warm enough in a few months. ive been doing some searching but i havnt really been able to find the answer to what im looking for. does everyone use rustoleum or brightside because there cheap and durable, or is there something special about rustoleum/marine paints that makes rolling on possible with good res

Im wondering if I could use the rustoleum method with some automotive enamel? I have a gallon of it that I bought on evilbay a few years ago and never used it.it came with hardener but I would use it without that.and just thin it way down like with the
Here's the project truck I bought for $500, engine and tranny rebuilt 3000 miles ago but it looks like crap. It was a farm truck. So figured I try the roll on job, I can't make it look any worse! I'll post some updates of the paint job soon,
Sooo say I wanted to remove the roll on paint job, could the paint underneath it be saved? I didnt scuff the car up that much... Im thinking the parts where I didnt go through may be able to be saved? Im planning on repainting the car the original color
I've never really found an answer to this but in the early 90's/late 80's GM painted all California cars with a crap water based primer. If you were unfortunate and got this primer on your car it would break down over time and your paint comes right off.
Got some Krylon camo rattle cans for $1 a piece a while ago. Got 9 olive drab, 1 tan, and one brown. I bought all they had . I'd like to roll on a flat tan/brown and use weeds from the yard as reverse stencils. Anybody tried this? Thanks
